SINCE TWO THOUSAND ELEVEN
In the heart of Coimbatore, COAREA acts as the silent architect of trust, shaping the city's future through an elite guild of certified real estate professionals.
The Indian real estate sector experienced rapid expansion in the early 2010s, creating immense opportunities. However, the concerns of professionals often remained underrepresented.
To address this, industry leaders formed NAR India in 2008, followed by the establishment of COAREA in 2011 to represent real estate professionals in the Coimbatore region.
Starting with just 4 founding members, COAREA has grown into a 50+ member strong association, including TNRERA-registered brokers and property consultants, making it one of the most credible realtor networks in the region.
Empowering Realtors and Strengthening the Industry.
In a complex and highly regulated sector, COAREA realtors ensure critical standards:

A small group of 4 visionary brokers gathered at the Cosmopolitan Club to discuss the lack of standards in the market. This informal meeting planted the seed for what would become COAREA.
COAREA was formally registered as a society under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. The first Constitution and bylaws were drafted, mandating a written code of conduct for members.
A milestone achievement connecting Coimbatore realtors to the national network. COAREA became an official member of the National Association of Realtors - India, opening doors to global referrals.
With the introduction of the Real Estate Regulation Act, COAREA played a pivotal role in educating over 1,000 local agents on compliance, registration, and legal frameworks.
